Bring old world charm to your home with this paint effect, painted on top of anaglypta wallpaper from the Resene Wallpaper Collection (pattern RD335).

You will need:

• Wallpaper pattern RD335 from the Resene Wallpaper Collection, available from Resene ColorShops
• Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen tinted to Resene Avalanche
• Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen tinted to Resene Alabaster
• 2 rollers/speed brushes
• 2 roller trays
• Paper towels

Step one. Paste the wallpaper to your walls according to the instructions.

Step two. Paint the wallpaper in Resene Avalanche. Leave to dry.

Step three. Lightly roll the roller onto Resene Alabaster and roll any excess onto the paper towel. You want as little of the paint as possible on the roller – just enough to dry brush over the anaglypta.

Step four. Lightly roll over the wallpaper, only touching the top of the textured wallpaper. Leave to dry.

Step five. Touch up anywhere that needs more texture – but less is more with this look.
