Bring some sparkle to the dinner table with this DIY candle holder idea, finished in glittering Resene Rose Gold.

You will need:

• Resene testpots in Resene Kalgoorie Sands and Resene Rose Gold
• Resene testpot brushes
• PVC fitting in various shapes, including elbow and tee joints
• PVC piping, cut to size (we used a drop saw)
• PVC glue
• Tapered candles

Step 1 Paint the PVC fittings in a basecoat of Resene Kalgoorie Sands. Leave to dry.

Step 2 Paint the fittings in Resene Rose Gold.

Step 3 Once dry, fit the PVC together to create different candle holder designs.

Step 4 When you’re happy with the design, glue the fittings together and leave to dry overnight.

Step 5 Place your candles and jazz up the dinner table with your fancy new candle holder.

Important safety info: Always ensure lit candles are under adult supervision. Always extinguish all candles before going to sleep. Replace candles before they reach 20mm from the top edge of the candleholder.
